CHICAGO (SR) - With most key positions in his upcoming administration filled, it is becoming apparent President-elect Barack Obama will be taking a pass on bringing on-board one of his biggest supporters, former North Carolina Senator John Edwards.
A spokesman for Obama said the President-elect would be "honored" to have Edwards in his cabinet, but said "due to circumstances surrounding the new secretary of state, the position of lying adulterer has effectively been filled."
