WASHINGTON (SR) - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told an audience at a Catholic Community Conference that she pursues public policies in keeping with the values of the "Word."
Pelosi said, "My favorite word is the Word, is the Word. And that is everything. It says it all for us. And you know the biblical reference, you know the Gospel reference of the Word. And that Word is, we have to give voice to what that means in terms of public policy that would be in keeping with the values of the Word. The Word. Isn’t it a beautiful word when you think of it? It just covers everything. The Word." *
After Pelosi's speech, the audience was left to wonder who or what this Word actually is - some assuming she was referring to Jesus if Jesus was an enthusiastic promoter of slaughtering children in (or partially out of) the womb, others sure Madame Speaker made up her own bizarre deity. At this point nobody really knows.

My comments: I find it less than comforting that Nancy's "Word" prompted her to vote for partial birth abortions and men having butt sex. Let's hope it doesn't tell her to start shooting people!
