NEW YORK (SR) - Apparently the host of the MSNBC show "Countdown," Keith Olbermann, has been fired. Olbermann had the highest-rated show on the cable network, averaging almost 2000 viewers a night.
MSNBC was recently acquired by Comcast, but insiders claim the move had nothing to do with Olbermann's firing.
"He's retarded, but not in a way that makes you feel sorry for him," said one high level source at GE, MSNBC's parent company, of the fired host. "Add to that the fact he has the intellect of a Pez dispenser governed by the temper of a rabid chihuahua, and you've got one angry, ignorant, hot mess. We should have just killed him."
My comments: What's this country coming to when a failed sportscaster-turned raging, lunatic commie sympathizer like Keith can't hold a job at a basement-dwelling left wing swamp like MSNBC?
