WASHINGTON (SR) - Thanks to today's Drudge Report headline "500 Million Americans Lose Their Job Every Month" linked to the You Tube clip of House Speaker Nancy Polosi giving that statement at a news conference, questions are being raised concerning her intelligence or lack thereof.
This is just the latest in a never-ending string of distorted or patently false statements given by Mrs. Pelosi, and some say they're taking a toll on her own party.
Many Democrats are worried that Pelosi's gaffes, as well as those made by Senate leader Harry Reid and Vice President Joe Biden are painting their party as being run by, as one frustrated Obama staffer put it, "retarded pinheads with the IQ of a bird bath."
Pelosi later recanted her statement, saying she had meant to say "50 million Americans lose their job every day."
