WASHINGTON (SR) - Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan responded today to accusations by this site and others that she is a lesbian.
"I resent the recent articles implying I don't like men," said Kagan, "At one time I dated a man who was once a woman, so one could hardly call me a lesbian."
In a further attempt to quell the rumors, sources likely associated with the Obama administration today released a photo showing Kagan in the affectionate embrace of a male companion.
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Kagan's statement coupled with the photo "effectively dismiss any personal questions" associated with the nominee.
My comments: I agree with Gibbs that this photo pretty much lays to rest any notion that Kagan's a lesbian. I apologize for earlier articles inferring that she was.
