TEHRAN (SR) - A government newspaper reported Sunday that Iran has developed a robot to be used for "sensitive jobs."
The robot, named Soorena-2 after an ancient Persian warrior, was unveiled at a ceremony by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The device appears to be copied after a Japanese robot introduced approximately 15 years ago.
Sources at the unveiling claim the robot walks and can answer simple questions, albeit with a minor speech impediment. One Iranian newsman reported hearing the robot fart while relieving itself next to him in the restroom. "It was amazing, no Western robot has such capabilities," he said.
My comments: Wow, who would guess this socially, economically, and morally retarded bunch of Godless douche bags could create something so advanced? Bravo!
