Dystopia Rising

On November 3^rd, 2020, we reelected President Trump in a landslide.  When the communist Democrats and their international fellow travelers stole the election from him in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 4^th, we knew the Usurper China Joe’s regime would take a wrecking ball to our nation and freedoms, but I don’t know that we imagined the stunning speed with which the destroyers would work.

The handlers of the mentally faltering Joe Biden had a slew of dictatorial executive orders ready for him to sign right away, orders aimed at quickly dismantling some of the excellent, pro-freedom, pro-American accomplishments of the Trump administration, and resuming the despotic, anti-American schemes of the Obama administration.  The predictions conservatives made are coming to pass at warp speed.

Just a partial list here:  The communist Democrats are going after our dwindling freedoms and wealth with all the horrible policies of the so-called “Green New Deal.”  They’re working to destroy the suburbs.  They’re targeting our Second Amendment rights.  They’re continuing the abolition of our freedom of speech through their proxies of “Big Tech,” corporate communism, and academia.  They’re working to destroy law and order and our police forces.  They’ve busted our southern border wide open to untold numbers of alien criminals.  They’re working to nationalize elections in order to cement the methods of fraud that led to the 2020 election heist.  They’re aiming to pack the Supreme Court with communist activists.  They want to unconstitutionally create a new state of Washington D.C., in order to solidify Democrat power in perpetuity.

They’re doubling and tripling down on the psychological fear operation of the COVID-19 scamdemic, with its attendant bunk-science-based mask despotism, lockdowns, people separation, and bogus case and death numbers.  This wicked scheme has enabled the communist left to destroy a countless number of lives, small businesses, and freedoms.  With the outrageous spending on unemployment payments—now paying people to not work—they’ve created the additional problem of a shortage of manpower in the workforce.  Business owners are unable to attract help, because the wages they pay can’t compete with the higher amount of taxpayer money handouts from the federal government.

These things are just the surface of what’s happening.  We can’t keep up with it all.  The communist Democrats now in power are on a seek-and-destroy mission of the United States of America.  They’re coming off of a four-year rage bender against President Trump and his supporters, and they’re burning will hell’s fury to tear down our once-free Republic and replace it with a dystopian nightmare.  One of their goals is to de-industrialize our nation, sending us back to the dark ages—literally.  Just look at their insane, environmentalist whacko “green” policy schemes to see this.  The worst days of our nation and world are flying toward us.

There are still many people who hold out hope that certain things will happen to restore our free Republic, things like election reform, taking back Congress in 2022, President Trump being declared the rightful winner after election and ballot audits, or even a military coup to depose the usurper in the White House.  I don’t think any of those things will happen.  I believe our elections are done, and will only be a charade from now on.  Nor will the communists now in power allow President Trump to be declared the rightful 2020 winner, even though he was.

We can only imagine the unspeakably bad times ahead as we watch our nation, economy and freedoms crumble, and likely much more—danger to our food and water supply, power grid, and also the potential for the dollar’s crash and inflation that we’ve never seen in this nation.  And while the communist destruction may seem needless, because we know the solutions that should stop this tyrannical madness and bring back freedom and prosperity, we must realize that there is a higher reality at work.

There is no way we can make sense of anything done by the communists (which includes more than a few “Republicans”) unless we consider the spiritual aspect of it and understand that God is not mocked.  Whatever a man (or a nation) sows, that is what he reaps.  Our nation is horribly bent with sin and corruption, and it’s deeply drenched in innocent blood.  A nation that engages in child sacrifice is on borrowed time.  Again, God is not mocked.  Many times in the Old Testament, Israel, our example, is turned over by God to their enemies when they chose wickedness.  We have done the same, and we should not be surprised when our nation’s enemies, within and without, are inflamed with hellish passion for our destruction and are given the power to accomplish it.

Our physical world is a shadow of the real one, which is spiritual and eternal.  The powers of good and evil are in a constant battle for the souls of men, although the war for the world was fought and won, once for all, by Jesus at the cross.  What lies ahead is the last day of this lost and dying world, and Jesus has warned us that they will be the worst the world has ever seen, that unless He shortens those days (which He will), no one would survive.

The point of this column about the certainty of a dreadful dystopian future for the United States and world is to tell you that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Who IS God, is the only hope each of us has, the only source of life, truth, wisdom, knowledge, peace, and salvation.  Without Him, we will forever suffer torment, but not be dead.  With Him, we will live forever in glory.  He gave His sinless life for us all because He loves us with an unfathomable love.  Please believe, grab a Bible, read and seek Him for understanding of this while you can still find Him.  In these coming horrible days, you will want to belong to Him.  Let Him save you and take care of you, no matter how bad the world gets.

Flattening the United States

Last Tuesday on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show, he asked, “What was the goal here, to flatten the curve or flatten the U.S. economy?”  It’s a rhetorical question that reminds me of what some of us have suspected from the start of this “pandemic.”  That the insane, despotic response in shutting down our nation was never about public “safety” from a Chinese flu-like virus, but rather, it was about gaining control of the people, breaking the United States and thwarting President Trump’s reelection chances in November.

Do I really believe a global pandemic is being used to target President Trump and the United States?  Yes, I do, and I’m far from the only one who sees it.  From the beginning, I have been suspicious of much of the reporting on the Wuhan virus, especially the death and infection rate numbers out of communist Democrat-controlled states and bureaucracies.  Immediately after the Democrats’ vile impeachment scam finally ended in proper failure, the media harpies flew into megaphone lock-step, flooding the American people with incessant, manufactured hysteria over this “novel coronavirus.”  Even many people who had previously come to fully mistrust the media, suddenly began to believe them and fall into the compliant fear trap the media were setting.

This virus also seemed to come pre-packaged with its own PR campaign.  It even has a logo!  The logo (an example seen here), I guess, is supposed to be the likeness of a microscopic image of the virus.  It looks like Pinhead from the Hellraiser movies, and it’s been featured seemingly everywhere since the beginning of this!  When have we ever seen such a thing done?  We even have the lingo:  “social distancing,” “flatten the curve,” “stay home; stay safe,” and “essential” workers and businesses (which is detestable, because every business is essential to the people involved with it).  It’s all been impressively organized from the start, almost as if it were a “rollout.”

We were told that it’s a “brand new” virus, and yet from the beginning, it was declared that most people who get it are asymptomatic.  Where did that information come from?  Did China say that?  How was there immediately all this extensive testing on people who weren’t sick, who had no symptoms, so that it was able to be determined that “most people who get the virus are asymptomatic”?  Regardless, one thing I can tell you is that’s an amazingly convenient key factor in this.  If everyone who got this virus became obviously sick, then there would be no “excuse” to shut down the nation, but if everyone walking around free, seemingly healthy, could potentially be an infected “spreader” of the virus, then there’s your so-called excuse for suspending big chunks of the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights.

And suspend them they have.  The big picture of national “mitigation” is one of arbitrary dictates, not based in true science or proper legislation, nor honoring the fundamental rights of American citizens to work, worship, gather, and freely move about as they see fit.  There was never even a thought of treating this as any other flu-like virus and allowing herd immunity to progress.  No.  Instead, the powers-that-be seized on the opportunity presented to them by the media-created fear and hysteria in the people to impose their un-American, despotic control, including the psyops foolishness of mandated mask-wearing and inhumane, forced isolation.

I don’t blame President Trump in all this, because he has truly been between a rock and a hard place.  This nation-destroying nightmare was imposed on the United States, and the officials at the state and local levels have taken huge advantage of their newly-acquired power over frightened Americans, power they will not easily if ever, relinquish.

I remember the first shutdown that happened was of our local schools.  It was announced that certain school districts would close for a few days.  At the time I said it was nonsense to do that, but that quickly became the least of it.  Soon, the whole nation was shut down, and now here we are with millions of lives and businesses destroyed, and I don’t mean by a virus that apparently has a 99-plus-percent recovery rate.

The people who are pushing the continued shut-down of our nation have evil intentions.  This is not about a virus, and I truly believe it never has been.  It’s about crushing our freedoms, destroying the United States, and preventing President Trump’s reelection in November.  And they—meaning the communist Democrats and their fellow travelers—will stop at nothing to impose on our nation the tyranny of their long-held, wicked dreams.  I have no doubt that the “news” (regarding the death and infection rate numbers from the Chinese virus) will continue to be whatever the enemies of America in power within our nation need it to be to give them their “excuse” to continue the destruction of our nation with these senseless lockdowns because this is finally their chance.  At last, they’ve found the hammer that works, and they’re putting it down on the United States to flatten and reorder our nation according to their hell-born, dystopian desires.

It remains to be seen how much of this the American people will take before they stand up firmly against it, and if enough people do stand up, I hope it won’t be too little, too late.  It’s been encouraging to see some push-back against it in certain places.  I attended a Freedom Rally here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast last week.  It was an event that was very quickly organized, so there was not much time to get the word out.  Even so, there were around 150 or more people there.  That has to be repeated on a grand scale all across the country, especially in communist Democrat-controlled states.  Business owners, employees, and other concerned Americans must engage in massive, widespread, peaceful civil disobedience to these lawless dictates if we’re to have any hope of stopping the destruction of our nation.

All That Truly Matters

Many of us have imagined how the communists (or whatever you want to call the enemies of God, truth, and freedom) might defeat the United States and destroy our liberty and economy.  It’s likely that few of us imagined the defeat would be self-imposed like this, or that the threat of a Chinese flu-like virus would be whipped up by leftist media-driven hysteria and panic to the point that our nation’s leaders would despotically shut down our country in the name of so-called “safety.”

From the start of this nightmarish ordeal, I have not trusted the reporting on the Chinese virus.  I have doubted the numbers out of China and Italy and even California and New York.  I’ve had many questions about how there are suddenly accurate diagnoses of this “novel” coronavirus (especially in communist and socialist countries) and instant assertions that all these people are unquestionably dying of it.  I don’t doubt that people have died of it, but most of the dead reportedly already had other grave health conditions.  We don’t know how many have truly died of the virus, rather than simply with the virus, or how much false reporting there is.  There are many more questions than these surrounding the sketchy facts of this disease.

Regardless, we are now at the mercy of a response being imposed on us that is based on hysterical panic and fictional projection models, a one-size-fits-all approach that is emblematic of communist regimes, not a free republic of independent states.  Rather than bravely pursue simple herd immunity, we are willing to destroy countless lives, businesses, life, and retirement savings and more for the elusive hope of “safety.”  Does anyone imagine we can wait this thing out “safe distancing” in our homes?  That’s nonsense!  Our nation cannot sustain this shutdown!

And the despotism is getting worse by the day, with states setting up “snitch” hotlines and imposing criminal charges on businesses and individuals who disobey their Orwellian “safety” dictates, while they also free felons from prison to “protect” them!  All this for a virus that, so far, seems to be deadly for a fraction of one percent of people who contract it, the majority of whom already have other serious health problems.  Our nation’s response is insane.  It’s national suicide.  And the despots in power will not easily relinquish this unconstitutional control of the people they’re achieving.  

Added to this is the coming flood of fiat cash from the Fed and Washington that sets up the nation for potential hyperinflation.  The economy and so much more are in serious danger of destruction, and who can say when this psycho shutdown will end?  Whatever the outcome, our nation will not be what it was, and I have no doubt that very dark days are headed our way.

While some of us may believe this is all very avoidable, those of us who are Bible-believing-and-studying Christians know that it’s not.  Even though I have been extremely angry at this tyrannical response and the lunatic crushing of our freedoms and nation in the name of “safety,” I still know that Jesus told us these kinds of things—and even worse—must come to pass before His return on the last day.  God has shown immense grace, patience, and mercy to our nation, which is deeply drenched in the innocent blood of millions of murdered preborn babies and is drowning in sin, perverse rebellion and spiritual corruption.

Some people say that all of this will end, and everything will go back to normal, and the economy and stock market will come roaring back.  That would be excellent, but I’m not expecting it.  Our nation is ripe for destruction, and we’re starting to see how our freedom ends.  We’re starting to see things we have enjoyed all our lives possibly being stripped away without return.  Yes, it’s possible that we could lose so much more than we yet believe during this outrageous reordering of our system.

I said all that to say this.  There is one thing that truly matters, only one.  And it applies to every one of us in the world.  We are all hopelessly lost and headed for eternal death, because of the sin we have committed against the God of all creation, to Whom we are fully accountable for breaking His law.  Regardless of whether we believe this or not, it remains the truth.  It’s also true that we are powerless to redeem ourselves, to make up for our sin or to even stop sinning.  It’s impossible as we stand lost, because we are slaves to sin.

The good news is that there is a way we can be freed from the bondage of sin, saved from death and given eternal life.  God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to willingly take on human form, live a sinless life and then give His life as a ransom for anyone who will believe in Him.  Jesus, Who is God, has done the impossible.  He has defeated death.  It is because of our sin that we die physically, but since Jesus had no sin, death had no legal claim on Him, and the grave could not hold Him.  He rose from the dead on the third day after He gave His life for us—VICTORIOUS!

Jesus repaired the bridge between God and man that Adam broke in the Garden.  He stands today knocking on the door of our hearts with great kindness, patiently giving us chance after chance to turn to Him and be saved.  All that truly matters in this world is that you believe in Jesus and be saved.  He is the only way to God.  There is no other.

Answers to every question you may have in this dark time are found in God’s Word to us, the Bible, which is no ordinary book.  It is alive and powerful.  Ask God to open your understanding of it as you honestly seek Him, and He will.  He gives life, peace, true knowledge and wisdom, comfort and all good things that are.

 

 

President Trump and the Blessed Reprieve

[Before I begin, to our Rush Limbaugh, let me join countless millions of others in expressing my heart-crushing sadness over hearing you tell us of your cancer diagnosis.  It cannot be overstated how dearly you are loved and how fervently we are praying to the Lord for a healing miracle for you, as well as strength, comfort, and peace for you and Kathryn.  We need you, and we love you.]

Describing it as disgusting does not quite capture the evil, upside-down situation we’ve watched in our nation since before President Trump was elected.  The Democrat power structure, which includes more than a few so-called “Republicans” like Mitt Romney, has incessantly accused President Trump of the very things done by members of the previous administration.  Those of us with understanding and eyes to see know this.

We know, relatively speaking, that President Trump is perhaps the most innocent man in Washington, which makes this insane frenzy of false accusations against him even more outrageous.  That these despotic lunatics have gone so far as to impeach him—over nothing!—is an unspeakable act of treachery like we haven’t seen in our nation.  Thankfully, the impeachment sham was ended on January 5th, although we know the communist subversives who’ve been running this not-so-silent coup will continue with another iteration of it.

It’s infuriating and exhausting to watch the communists in the media and Congress boldly and proudly lie about President Trump and those of us who support him.  No, he has not broken any laws or committed any impeachable offenses.  Nor are those of us who support him ignorant, racist rubes, as the lying media would have you believe.  It has been nightmarish watching these enemies of America try to undo the 2016 presidential election, although at the same time, it has been a great blessing.

Since 2010, I’ve written numerous columns warning of the dangers to our freedoms and the foundation of our representative Republic posed by the schemes of the communist Left.  You can call them Democrats, “progressives,” socialists, whatever you like, but I call them communists, and they stand against the goodness and freedom that the United States represents.  Many times I have written that we should pray that God grants our nation an undeserved reprieve from the tyranny that is clearly headed our way.  The Lord, in His great mercy, granted us that reprieve in causing Donald Trump to win the election, despite whatever election fraud schemes the Democrats may have tried.

Those of us who are Christians know there is nothing perfect in our lost and broken world, no perfect leader, but President Trump is a bright spot in the dark net of tyranny that is coalescing over the world.  He is an answer to many prayers.  He loves this nation and its people.  He is trying to fulfill his campaign promises and is doing so quite well, considering the ridiculous opposition to him in Congress and the federal courts.

We may have disagreements on some policies, like a two-state “solution” in Israel.  There can be no such thing.  All that land belongs to Israel—forever.  There is no such country as “Palestine,” and there never will be, not in truth.  We also may not approve of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which is an assault on our national sovereignty.  Among a number of bad items in the over 2400-page agreement, it promotes the communist United Nations “climate change” schemes.  It also imposes special protections for homosexual activists and gender rebels, at the expense of the true freedoms of others.  Despite the very few policy disagreements, I firmly believe that President Trump is a great blessing, a reprieve on the road to tyranny, and I thank God for him.

With Donald Trump’s presidency, God has caused the side of darkness to expose itself like never before in our nation.  President Trump threatens the stranglehold on power of the entrenched “swamp” in Washington, and those people are manic in their hatred of this fact.  The commies in positions of power and influence—who hate God and His people, who hate the United States and its God-blessed foundation, who hate real freedom, truth and reason—have cast off any pretense of objectivity.  In their desperation to stop President Trump, they no longer care that they’re showing everyone their true faces of despotism.  At this point, anyone with just one eye even half-open should be able to easily see the demented, hate-drenched minds of the leftist power mongers in Washington, the media, Hollywood, academia and anywhere else they lie.

In our nation, the spiritual battle lines are now being made plain in the physical world, so everyone has yet another chance to choose right over wrong, freedom over despotism, heaven over hell.  I have no doubt that the Lord, in His great patience with us, is causing the deranged people of the communist Left to be easily seen by all those who may not have previously paid much attention to politics and the cultural rot going on around them.  As a famous comedian might say, here’s your sign!

There is now no ambiguity on where leftists stand.  They support legalized murder of babies, even after birth, calling it “choice.”  They support lawlessness in illegal immigration and dangerous “sanctuary” cities and states.  They support militant sexual depravity being imposed on our school children and used as a weapon of lawfare to rob the freedoms and livelihoods of people of conscience who oppose its normalization in our society.  They support economic policies of socialism/communism that would impoverish our nation and its citizens, destroy our health care and health insurance systems and more.  And, of course, they want the God of all creation and His Son Jesus to be expelled from our nation.

President Trump is the blessed reprieve that we prayed to see, as our nation moves toward the inevitable last darkest days of the world.  Here’s a respite from the tyranny that is certainly headed our way, because once he is out of office, there will come a time when the satanically-inspired communists solidify their power, and it won’t be taken from them until Jesus returns.  Terrible policies like the “Green New Deal,” and much worse, will become law, and our freedoms and prosperity will vanish.

So, let us continue to lift up President Trump and his family in our prayers, giving thanks for the time of his presidency that the Lord has given us, this blessed reprieve that, despite the incessant screeching and wailing of hell’s harpies, has been such a wonderful, bigly winning treat.

 

As In The Days Of Noah

In recent years, I've noticed a messaging trend in columns, commentary, and sermons regarding a section of Scripture in Matthew 24.  It's the, "As in the days of Noah," passage, and I believe some people are missing its central meaning.  The point they make is that when the Lord returns, the world will be sinful like in the days of Noah, and as proof, they use this part of the verse:

“38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage…”

In part, they claim it refers to the corruption of marriage, as in same-sex “marriage,” but that’s not what Jesus is saying there.  Yes, when the Lord returns there will be horrible, rampant sin in the world, but the sinfulness will be worse than in the days of Noah.  Remember what Jesus said earlier in verses 21-22:

“21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.”

What is yet to come is unimaginably worse than anything the world has ever seen.  The sinfulness, the tribulation, everything will be worse even than in the days of Noah.  It will be terrible but look at the context of what Jesus is saying in the, “as in the days of Noah,” passage.  In Matthew 24, He is speaking to His disciples of the events that will lead up to His return and the return itself and starting in verse 36, He pivots to the exact time of His return:

“36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Jesus is making the point that His return will be sudden and will catch people unaware, so Christians must always watch and be ready.  As in the days of Noah, everyone was living his life, as usual, eating and drinking, marrying, going to work, going to sleep at night, and they were all unaware until suddenly the flood came and took them away.

That’s how it will be at the end of this world when Jesus comes back and gathers His church.  Then, two will be working by each other, and very suddenly, one will be taken and the other left.  Jesus takes his church and leaves behind those who refused Him.  And because Jesus has warned us in what He says here in Matthew 24 and what He says through His prophets, like Daniel, John in Revelation and others, we need not be caught off-guard by His return.

For those who are not Christians:  If you have read this far and have not accepted the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, then please know that everyone is accountable to God Who made us.  There is only one Way to God, and that is through His Son Jesus, alone.  Whether you believe or not, one of two people will pay for your sins:  either you or Jesus.  That’s why Jesus came into this world, God in human form, and gave His innocent, sinless life on the cross, because of His great love for us.  It was to pay the price for sin that none of us could ever pay, to redeem the lost and remake the bridge between God and man that Adam broke.

Seek Jesus today, while you still can.  If you seek Him, you will find Him.  Grab a Bible and read it.  What you need to know is in there.

 

 

University Professor Group Protests Gender Sanity

Last month, the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), a labor union and foundation group out of Washington, D.C., that purports, in part, to support academic freedom, released a statement titled, “The Assault on Gender and Gender Studies.”  It should send chills down the spines of any parents who have sent or are considering sending, their kids to college today.

What “assault” on gender?  It’s not the one you might think, the one by militant homofascists and “transgender” activists.  Instead, their idea of an assault on gender is from those who seek a return to sanity by codifying in law the correct definition of the sexes as biological male and female (as if that should ever need defining).  The statement’s writers complain about Hungary’s Prime Minister decreeing that no “gender studies” courses can be taught in universities, and they also whine about the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ plan to correctly define sex for Title IX purposes.

Here’s a stunner from the first paragraph of the statement:

Both the Trump and the Orbán administrations insist upon a biological basis for gender that has been thoroughly discredited by over fifty years of feminist, trans, queer, and critical race research and by lived experience. These two administrations are not the only ones attacking so-called gender ideology. In Poland, Brazil, and Bulgaria, there have also been attempts to refute the scholarly consensus that gender identity is variable and mutable.

Again, this is a group of university professors who are teaching America’s kids this nonsense!  According to the AAUP’s “about” page, they have chapters on over 500 college campuses across the nation.  That gem above wasn’t the worst of what they wrote.  In response to the Hungary Prime Minister’s deputy saying that gender studies have no place in universities because they’re an ideology, not a science, the AAUP basically said, “I know you are, but what am I?!”:

The [AAUP]... strongly [condemns] these efforts to restrict the legal meaning of gender to what are said to be its natural, immutable forms.  …  Biologists, anthropologists, historians, and psychologists have repeatedly shown that definitions of sex and sexuality have varied over time...  Politicians and religious fundamentalists are neither scientists nor scholars. Their motives are ideological.  It is they who are offering “gender ideology” by attempting to override the insights of serious scholars.  By substituting their ideology for years of assiduous research, they impose their will in the name of a “science” that is without factual support.  This is a cynical invocation of science for purely political ends. [Emphasis mine]

How do we even respond to such foolish statements, which are so horribly divorced from truth and reason?  The unchanging fact is that people are all made by God either male or female, period, and the passing of time and varying cultures do not alter that truth.  If someone believes he is the opposite sex, then he needs help to align his mind with reality, to overcome his mental sickness and spiritual rebellion. 

By saying, “Politicians and religious fundamentalists are neither scientists nor scholars,” they’re attempting to stifle debate against their assertions.  Putting aside that such a statement is silly since they have no informed way of making that broad claim, it remains that no one needs to be an “official” scholar or scientist to know and speak the truth.  This is a common rhetorical tactic of the scientifically-challenged left to silence their critics, to claim that we’re not “qualified” to speak against their contentions.  Whether it’s “global warming,” now “climate change,” or the homofascist movement, real, honest science is not its foundation.  It’s an inconvenience they discard (and replace with pseudo-science) when it contradicts their political agenda.

Regardless, this is what we’re facing in our nation today.  Other countries, including Canada and those in Europe, are farther down the road to homofascist despotism, and unless we somehow stop the madness, we will be there, too.  “Hate speech” crimes will be a punitive, everyday reality, much more so than they already are.  Christians are already losing their jobs here in the United States for refusing to play along with the “transgender” charade.  Christian business owners are being targeted and sued by homosexual activists for not lending their work and support to same-sex “marriage.”

This only gets worse and worse if we don’t stand firmly against it, and that’s a mighty tall order when our nation’s kids are being indoctrinated in the public schools and universities with pro-homosexual, pro-“transgender” propaganda.  If the communists running our schools continue to own the minds of the younger generations, then we will eventually go the way of Canada and Europe to an ever-darker, despotic place where freedom of speech and conscience are just distant memories.

 

 

UK Scholars Speak Out Against “Transgender” Despotism

More than fifty scholars who work at universities in the UK, US, Australia and elsewhere, and are part of a group of over a hundred, have signed a letter that was published last week in the U.K. Guardian.  They expressed their concern about the detrimental effects of political correctness and the “trans” lobby on their ability to research and report their findings regarding so-called “transgenderism.”

The scholars are from a myriad of fields, as they note:

Our subject areas include sociology, philosophy, law, criminology, evidence-informed policy, medicine, psychology, education, history, English, social work, computer science, cognitive science, anthropology, political science, economics, and history of art.

In part, they expressed their worries:

We are also concerned about the suppression of proper academic analysis and discussion of the social phenomenon of transgenderism, and its multiple causes and effects. Members of our group have experienced campus protests, calls for dismissal in the press, harassment, foiled plots to bring about dismissal, no-platforming, and attempts to censor academic research and publications. Such attacks are out of line with the ordinary reception of critical ideas in the academy, where it is normally accepted that disagreement is reasonable and even productive.

How unsurprising.  The aggressive pushers of “tolerance” are bullies.  And just like in the United States under Barack Obama (or whatever his name is), these militant homofascists have imposed their propaganda will on schools and universities in the UK:

Many of our universities have close links with trans advocacy organisations who provide “training” of academics and management, and who, it is reasonable to suppose, influence university policy through these links. Definitions used by these organisations of what counts as “transphobic” can be dangerously all-encompassing and go well beyond what a reasonable law would describe. They would not withstand academic analysis, and yet their effect is to curtail academic freedom and facilitate the censoring of academic work.

Nothing about “transgenderism” would withstand any kind of rational analysis or scrutiny, because its very basis—the notion that a man could possibly be a woman, and vice versa—is not simply wrong, it’s crazy-wrong, a million pseudo-scientific claims to the contrary notwithstanding.

Here in the US, this demented movement exploded with Obama’s full support during his presidency.  As with militant homosexual activism, I have also warned that “transgenderism” would be used to further crush our freedoms.  This has proven true, as people in places all across the nation are being forced, under penalty of law in some cases, to play along with the charade that a man is a “woman.”  It’s also being used to defy common decency, with men insisting on using women’s restrooms and dressing rooms and even being allowed to compete in women’s sports.  This vile madness should not be allowed to continue.

This wicked movement’s true targets are Christianity and Christ’s followers, because these people, whether they’re homosexual or the mentally sick who imagine they’re the opposite sex, are in aggressive rebellion against God and His natural order and design for marriage, family and human sexuality.  They want to destroy the meaning of marriage and the definition of male and female, as if that were possible, except under the creation of bad laws.

It’s encouraging to see these scholars in the UK and elsewhere speak out against this despotic movement because it must be firmly resisted.  Here in the US, I’m also glad to see President Trump’s Justice Department reportedly moving to properly define male and female for federal Title IX purposes.  That there would ever be a need to define male and female illustrates how far down the evil road to social insanity we’ve been shoved by the God-hating Left, whose purpose, beyond pure rebellion against God, is to demolish the freedoms of our Constitutional Republic.  They’re working like mad to do it, too, as they constantly create bogus new terms that are used to deceive and intimidate, terms like “gender identity” and “transphobic.”  Both of those terms are lies.

Nevertheless, I’m thankful that there is pushback against “transgender” mania.  Courage tends to beget more courage, and this tyrannical movement will only be stopped when many, many more people are willing to fearlessly stand up and say, “NO!” to the social activism of a tiny minority of mentally and spiritually sick people who seek to impose their derangement on all of society.

 

 

Standing Against ‘Drag Queen Story Hour’

Last Saturday, I was part of a protest against a "Drag Queen Story Hour" being held at a public library in Mobile, Alabama. These events, which are happening in libraries and public schools all across the nation, are one of the newer weapons in the homofascist arsenal, and they target little children from three to eight years old.

The events are grotesque spectacles of men dressed garishly as "women" reading "children's" books (that include feminist, homosexual and "transgender" themed stories) to little ones whose parents foolishly choose to bring them. A December 2016 column by a writer for the DailyWire reports that the "Drag Queen Story Hours" was spawned by homosexual and feminist groups in New York and San Francisco, in response to Donald Trump's election in 2016.

At Saturday's protest, those of us who stood against this demented abuse of children were greatly outnumbered, when we shouldn't have been. The militant homosexual activists aggressively worked to make sure they had a large, boisterous presence, even bussing in a group of "free hugs" t-shirt-wearing millennials. Our side was basically one local TEA Party group that had encouraged right-minded people to attend. I'm guessing we had around 50 to the other side's 200 or more.

It was a shame that more rational people were not willing to leave their comfort zone and stand outside that library to plead for the protection of little children, the most precious and vulnerable among us. The message that is sent to the world when we do not speak and stand against this wickedness is that we either don't care about the issue, or we approve of it. And even though our numbers are dwindling, as communist public school indoctrination continues on the younger generations, I know that there are still more of us than those who embrace this vile, sexual deviancy.

It may be that some people don't object to "Drag Queen Story Hour" because they have been deceived by the militant homosexual activists' propaganda campaign, which really got an aggressive boost under Barack Obama's regime. Its messaging seeks to normalize perversion, especially in the minds of school children and college kids. The deceptions they use to sell their depraved, dangerous behavior include calling it "love" (no, it's lust), claiming it is "equality" they desire (we're all already equal under the law), and falsely labeling as "hate" the truth we tell about the corrupt, deadly reality of homosexual and "transgender" behaviors.

Another false argument they make is that "drag queens" must be allowed to do this because it's a First Amendment issue. It is not! It's a child corruption issue, and we have plenty of laws against harming children. It doesn't matter to me if no one in the world can understand the fact that perverts dressed as "women" reading homosexual propaganda stories to little children are harmful to them. It remains harmful.

None of what I say will make sense to anyone who rejects God's inexorable law. To those who embrace it, what I say is plainly true. Homosexual and cross-dressing, "transgender," behaviors are wrong. They have always been, and will always be, wrong. They are examples of aggressive rebellion against God and His proper design for mankind's sexuality. These bad behaviors lead to all sorts of misery for those who choose to engage in them, including inordinately high rates of suicide and suicide attempts, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, mental illness, and disease.

This is why it is an unspeakable outrage that these demonically-inspired people are targeting for corruption little children across our nation, and it is purely shameful that there is not a massive fight and push-back against it by right-minded Americans.

If you could have been there last Saturday and watched as "parents" led their little ones into that library, past the cheering, pro-sodomite demonstrators, it would have broken your heart. We prayed for those precious babies and for the many deceived people who stood against us. We prayed the Lord would protect the hearts and minds of the children from the wicked influence of the transvestite reprobates who spoke and read to them.

These "Drag Queen Story Hours" will continue across our nation, unless or until many, many more of us are willing to stand firm against them in our cities.

D’Souza’s Latest and Hell’s Trump Derangement

Dinesh D'Souza's latest film, "Death of a Nation," is another home run. We saw it this past Saturday in its opening weekend. It is outstanding and current, as all of his films are. In it, Mr. D'Souza presents the truth behind the Big Lies of the commie/fascist/Nazi/Ku Klux Klan/Democrat/"Progressive" collective with his in-depth research, interviews and high-quality historical reenactments by actors who look impressively like the people they're portraying.

Although I had heard radio audio of many of them, I had not seen most of the video clips he showed of insane Hell's Media in their vicious reactions to Donald Trump winning the 2016 presidential election. They're quite sobering to watch. The deranged hate from these people is stunning.

During much of the Obama administration, I wrote one or two columns a week, and in many of them, I called for prayers that God would give our nation undeserved mercy, a reprieve from the inevitably despotic consequences of our nation's broad embrace of all kinds of wickedness and corruption.

The Lord answered our prayers in a mighty way by preventing all the scheming and fraud of the communist Democrats to shove the criminal harpy, Hillary Clinton, into the presidency. I thank God He did not allow her to win! He gave us President Trump, and all the forces of Hell and its human servants are of one mind, unified in pure, lunatic hatred for him. We have not seen anything like it in our nation's history.

Just as Islam is the photo-negative of Christianity, so was the treatment of Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) by Hell's Media compared to their treatment of President Trump. The entire Left—politicians, media, Hollywood, academia—were all drooling dogs worshiping at Obama's treacherous feet, giving cover to his every lie and lawless, anti-American scandal.

Those same people are now doing their worst to destroy President Trump, a man who has done none of what they falsely accuse him of doing, and certainly none of the corrupt, power-mad things Obama and others in his administration did. The breathtaking depth of corruption and criminality in the Obama intelligence agencies and the ensuing hoax of this seemingly interminable "Russia collusion" investigation are beyond measure. It's clear that this Mueller guy is hell-bent on making a Donald Trump "crime" out of thin air.

In "Death of a Nation," Mr. D'Souza lays bare not only the lies of these people who are baselessly, viciously attacking President Trump, but also the related lies of their comrades in history, including the Third Reich. And he wonders if America will again be saved as it was during the Civil War era.

The film's presentation, its cinematography, sound, all of it, are excellent, and the music is glorious. It's real, and it's uplifting but also a warning to those with eyes to see. Our nation is in a battle for its freedom and soul, and Mr. D'Souza is trying to impart the critical nature of our situation and the need that we all stand firmly for truth and righteousness in the United States, no matter how dear the cost of standing for what's right and true. As with all of his pictures, you'll applaud at the end. Go see it while it's still on the big screen.

 

 

 

Remembering Our Precious WWII Heroes

It was a chance encounter at our neighbors' annual summer party in which I was fortunate to meet Thomas E. Simmons. I learned that he's the author of several books, including, "Forgotten Heroes of WWII, Personal Accounts of Ordinary Soldiers, Second Edition." It's a compilation of the stories of fifteen World War II veterans in the European and Pacific theaters, land, sea, and air.

This is not a new book. It was first published in 2002, with the second edition out in 2014, and Mr. Simmons told me that all but a few of the men featured have since passed away. I cannot adequately express how deeply moved I was in reading this book and how strongly I recommend it. With each man's story, I cried. It's an excellent, though brutal, book, and one I wish every American would read, especially the young, who aren't being properly taught our history anymore.

Like many, if not most, war veterans, these men didn't want to talk about their horrific experiences, but as Mr. Simmons wrote in his prologue:

At first, without exception, these men refused to talk about the war... All made similar statements: There's really not much to tell. I was just there like everyone else. All I wanted to do was get home. Each was uncomfortable at being singled out to speak of experiences he felt were common to so many others. Each professed, "It was so long ago I don't remember much."

I was gently persistent, beginning with simple questions. In each case, a strange thing happened. Speaking quietly, shyly, honestly, and often painfully, vivid experiences began to flood from bottled-up memories that had been locked away decades ago, locked away because they were painful and because those who were not there, including loved ones, could surely never understand. Once memory's gate was opened, each man spoke with clear recall in remarkable detail.

Each chapter is one man's account, and one chapter is of two men on the same islands in the Pacific. One chapter features entries from the diary of a medic in Japan's imperial army on Saipan. The entries are from the last few terrible and desperate weeks of his life as the Allied forces closed in, and as Mr. Simmons notes, they illustrate, "America faced a determined, fierce, and fanatical enemy on the islands of the Pacific."

Mr. Simmons seamlessly interposes each man's firsthand account with his own extensively researched narrative, which provides context and a great deal of educational and incidental information. While this is a history book, it's unlike any history book I've read. In reading the personal stories these men recount, it's as if we're sitting in the living room with our father or grandfather listening as he transports us with vivid descriptions into the center of the awful action. Those of us who've not seen war cannot remotely comprehend the hell on earth these men and boys endured.

While the men featured in this book are mostly from areas on or near the Mississippi Gulf Coast, there are countless untold stories just like them from World War II veterans all across our nation. These are the tales of the common men and boys who were thrust into the last great and terrible war the United States and her allies entered and won with decisive force. The book is a precious reminder of the dreadfully dear cost of our freedom, freedom that far too many today don't regard—or worse, aggressively work to stifle.

At the very least, we owe these men our remembrance, to learn their stories and thank God Almighty for the mercy He granted to our nation in giving us the victory in World War II. In his epilogue of "Forgotten Heroes of WWII, Personal Accounts of Ordinary Soldiers, Second Edition," Mr. Simmons writes:

Old men now, the surviving veterans of World War II are dying at a rate of more than three hundred thousand a year. Let us not forget what they did, how hard it was for them daily—the physical discomfort, fear, pain and mortal danger—and that they somehow found the strength and courage to prevail in the face of it all. Every American, regardless of age or station in life, and each generation that follows has an obligation, individually and collectively, to make certain that the leadership of America, however imperfect in this imperfect world, nonetheless maintains our nation's strength, moral character, courage, and determination to remain a free republic founded upon individual liberty. We owe nothing less to that quietly departing generation as we ride the freedom they preserved for us into the twenty-first century.
